1st Annual


Travr, along with some of Tampa’s most successful and hard working individuals, provided a day of hope and inspiration to three underaged victims of human trafficking.


Redefining Refuge provides housing, education and therapy to underaged victims of human trafficking.


The day began with the girls receiving a bouquet of flowers and gift bags, including personalized cards and various inspirational material, such as The Power of Positive Thinking Book.

Stop 1.  Tampa General Hospital

Our day began with a gesture of good will by visiting Tampa General Hospital where we dropped off coloring books, crayons and teddy bears to the pediatric patients


Stop 2. Ms. Olympia Competitor

Our Second stop was Powerhouse Gym where we met Ms. Olympia competitor Kamla Macko and she shared her story and inspirational words about following her hopes and dreams and becoming one of Tampa’s most successful fitness competitors.

The girls also participated in an introduction to fitness routine from Kamla Mack, a Powerhouse Gym Tour and a complimentary annual membership to Powerhouse Gym in Downtown Tampa

Stop 3.  Lunch Break


Stop 4.  Amy’s Day Spa

We then stopped at Amy’s Day Spa to meet Amy Hathcox, a local female business owner who shared how she followed her passion and created one of Tampa’s most successful Day Spas.

The girls also received their first ever manicure and gift bags.

Stop 5.  Tampa Chief Judge and Tampa Attorney

Next, we met with Chief Judge Rondal Ficarotta and Local Attorney Jason Rogozinski who will provided words of encouragement and advice on education,  hard work and perseverance.  Jason and Judge Ficarotta could not have been more welcoming and encouraging, even allowing them to use the gavel and try on the infamous Chief Judge’s Robe.

Stop 6.  Local Superstar Artists

Our last stop was with Tampa’s superstar artists Bianca Burrows and Jason Skeldon, who discussed their passion for Art and how they turned their dreams into reality.  Together, Jason, Bianca and the girls created an acrylic painting on canvas, titled CHASING DREAMS.
